Search Expressions

The search engine accepts expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

linkage

finds documents containing the word 'linkage'

"record linkage"

finds documents containing the phrase 'record linkage'

record or linkage

finds documents containing either 'record' or 'linkage'

record and linkage

finds documents containing both 'record' and 'linkage'

record not linkage

finds documents containing 'record' but not 'linkage'

(record not linkage) and count

finds documents containing 'record' but not 'linkage', and 'count'

link*

finds documents containing words starting with 'link'
