Training Issue -- Reviewing Estimates of Model Parameters. Most training participants reported problems reviewing match results in order to validate a current linkage model or improve a linkage model for use in future matches. This process is both more automatic and more accurate in Version 8. A new tab (Estimates) has been added to the Review Match dialog which summarizes prior estimates, observed values, and posterior estimates for parameters of the Bayesian models used for linkage. In Version 7, this information was only available in project reports, or not at all. There is a new project report called Bayesian Model Check with additional estimate comparisons.
